Albert John KELLS
Albert John KELLS (1903-1988) was born to Robert William KELLS and Emma Elizabeth Kells (nee Wickens) in Tomerong. His parents owned the land to the west of the Old Princes Hwy (now Kells Road) (Portions 156 and 103) and Portion 35 which incorporates part of Kells Road and is south west of where the sawmills would be established. Albert is listed as a Farmer in 1936 to 1943. He married Vina McGUIRE in Nowra in 1938. Portions 103 and 35 passed to Albert and his brother Charles Robert KELLS in 1941 and they sold it to Herbert John McKINNON in 1947. It is believed they lived with Mrs Kells (Emma WICKENS) until she died in 1947. It appears they had moved to Milton by 1949. Albert and Vina's remains/plaque are in the Sandridge Cemetery, Mollymook.
