Vina McGuire 1912-1989

Vina McGUIRE (1912-1989) was born to George Walker McGUIRE and Nina MATHIE in Tomerong. George was a Teamster (Bullocky) at this time snigging logs to his father's mill at South Tomerong. Vina was the eldest daughter and a twin to Cyril Peter McGUIRE. Vina attended Tomerong School, took private piano lessons, played tennis and did knitting and embroidery. She married local Albert John KELLS in Nowra in 1938. It is believed they lived with Mrs Kells (Emma WICKENS) until she died in 1947. It appears they had moved to Milton by 1949. Albert and Vina's remains/plaque are in the Sandridge Cemetery, Mollymook. [1]
